Who's MAPAPA?!

Tomorrow is the annual meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association--or MAPAPA. The acronym never fails to make me chuckle. I've been a member for several years, but this is the first time I have not had to work the Saturday of the annual meeting. I'm really looking forward to it. All week I've been doing my best to rest and drink plenty of fluids and get feeling better for the big event. Early in the morning there is a paint-out in Annapolis. I'm feeling better, but not quite 6am-in-Annapolis-better, so I'll pass on the paint-out. The lecture and demo topics include: The Figure in Composition, Cityscapes, and Working with a Limited Palette. And there's also lunch and a business meeting. Should be fun!
