I'm finished!

The size is 3 months. And the pattern is Jonah's Sweater by the lovely and talented Cosette Cornelius-Bates of Cosymakes. Cosy will be publishing the pattern for sale in the near future. I will keep you posted. But please browse her shop for other delightful knitterly goodies in the meantime.

There's a little fish on each sleeve. And a clump of dirt under my fingernail. If you like to play on Ravelry, I've posted all the details here. If you're not a member of Ravelry, that link isn't going to work for your.
Nanny nanny boo boo.

While the sweater was in progress Robb worried that the sweater looked too feminine for us to use if our baby is a boy. This from a man who proudly wears a skirt, I mean, kilt. But I think it turned out unisex enough to go either way. It's really cute on the hanger with the gender-neutral duck onesie.
By the way, this is my 700th blog post. I think that means I have too much time on my hands.

barb, that's adorable! it'll be amazing for a little boy or a little girl! glad you had a good vacation!
Oh my god, I love this sweater. The cables! The ribbing! I would knit this. Nice job!
Plus, oh my god, I love a man in a kilt. (My man wears one, too.)
Wide ribbing? Would you call that ribbing? I'm not sure.
Also, it looks great in green.
I am amazed. It is gorgeous and will be so sweet to snuggle a baby in. Beautiful job.
Really, I dig the kilt...just like to give him a hard time about it.
About the ribbing and cables, Cosy did a post about using slipped cable patterns here.
If I knit it, anyone can. I'm not what you'd call an advanced knitter. I only knit when the tv is on, so patterns can't be too complicated to distract me from my Law and Order marathon.
Oh, and thanks for all the compliments. :)
Yeah, I hear ya. You miss one meaningful glance from Lawyer A to Suspect Q because you were slipping stitches and counting yarn-overs, and the whole episode is basically lost.
